Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor throughout his career. The actor is best famous for his roles performed in "Law and Ordinance Special Victims Unit". He identified his interest towards acting during his time in the college classroom and then studied acting in the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active in film and TV but his performances on the smaller screen have earned him a lot of popularity. His ability to portray characters from both sides of the law has captured the attention of viewers. The first show he worked on was a television show, however, he was later a detective for the NYPD. The small screen performances of his were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. He is known for his blue-piercing eyes, which have become a signature and helped in portraying tough characters with a sense of humor. People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured him.
